Once a week I offer Adventure Hikes “into the wilderness” when dogs are allowed to let out steam running, climbing, jumping and swimming in the countryside.
This is a fun and exciting way to keep your dog physically fit and mentally stimulated!
Our favourite locations are Bracknell forest, Black's Park, Virginia Waters, Hampstead Heath, Burnham Beeches, Beachy Head and other South East seaside spots where we can spend the whole day frolicking on the beach! There are plenty of wonderful parks in and around London to explore and I keep things varied and fun!
This is a whole day adventure: first we have a short walk, then a car ride (the car is fully air-conditioned with spacious boot and safety restrains) during which we will stop a few times to stretch our legs and then we hike for 3 to 5 miles with total walk time about 2 - 4 hours.
Distance and walking time depends on your dog's fitness level which will be assessed prior to booking an Adventure Walk.
On the way we play games such as fetch or tug-of-war, water-loving dogs have a chance for a swim or a paddle, while others prefer rock hopping, fallen tree climbing, sniffing around and exploring the wilderness.
The price is only £30 per dog for about 4-5 hours of Adventure in total. £25 per Adventure when you buy a 4 Adventure voucher for £100. The group size is only 2 to 4 dogs at a time.
It is a great idea to add some Adventure Walks to your dogs' schedule while you are away as it helps greatly to help your dog cope with separation!
